The NCSC Concludes the Cybersecurity Awareness Plan for Bahrain’s Governorate Staff
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) concluded its cyber awareness plan (2023-2024) for governorate employees. This initiative aimed to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness through cooperation and coordination with the Kingdom’s governorates.
The plan included sessions that introduced participants to the importance of protecting organizational devices against cyber risks, and the mechanisms for mitigating them by highlighting examples of cyberattacks. Additionally, it included a practical explanation of best practices to avoid cyber risks in the workplace, secure digital data and information, and uphold the principles of national security.
This plan is part of the national initiative to raise awareness among professionals across various job levels in all sectors. The Outreach and Awareness Directorate at the NCSC implemented the plan by conducting sessions that raised awareness of cybersecurity risks, focused on mitigating their impact, and emphasized protecting devices and networks in the workplace against evolving threats.
