The Deputy CEO for Cyber Operations Participates in the Third GCC Cybersecurity Executive Committee Meeting
Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohamed bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO for Cybersecurity Operations at the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), led the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation at the third meeting of the GCC Cybersecurity Executive Committee. It took place on July 1 in the State of Qatar. In attendance were undersecretaries of ministries, deputy heads of authorities, representatives from cybersecurity centers across the GCC, and the General Secretariat of the GCC.
During the meeting, several key cybersecurity topics were discussed, including the latest updates to the Gulf Cybersecurity Strategy, the first Gulf Cybersecurity Hackathon, and the Gulf Cyber Exercises.
This meeting was part of the collaborative framework among GCC countries aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and protecting shared interests. It also supports the goal of establishing a secure cyber environment that fosters sustainable development and innovation across the GCC.
