The NCSC Conducts Awareness Sessions as Part of the “Cyber Aware, Everywhere” Campaign
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with the Abdulrahman Kanoo Center for Quran Memorization, delivered a series of awareness sessions targeted at children and youth. The sessions are part of the NCSC’s ongoing efforts to raise cybersecurity awareness within civil society.
The lectures covered the fundamentals of cybersecurity and the safe usage of modern technologies, placing special emphasis on key digital threats such as phishing, online fraud, identity theft, and malware. Additionally, the lectures featured a variety of awareness activities and interactive games, allowing participants to develop essential skills. These included creating strong passwords, distinguishing between personal information and private data, and practicing safe browsing habits, all of which help strengthen participants’ ability to protect their privacy online.
The sessions concluded by emphasizing the importance of awareness and individual responsibility in the digital world, encouraging participants to adopt safe daily practices when using devices and applications.
