The NCSC Participates in the Fourth GCC Cybersecurity Executive Committee Meeting

The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) participated in the fourth meeting of the GCC Cybersecurity Executive Committee, held on July 2 in the State of Kuwait. The meeting was attended by representatives from national cybersecurity authorities, agencies, and centers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohamed bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO for Cybersecurity Operations at the NCSC, led the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation. The Deputy CEO affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s determination to strengthen GCC cooperation and unifying efforts in the field of cybersecurity, in addition to monitoring the progress of the technical committees established under the Executive Committee.

The agenda included key discussions on the implementation of the Gulf Cybersecurity Strategy, progress on the cyber threat information-sharing platform, and regional cybersecurity exercises to enhance coordination and integration among the GCC countries in the field of cybersecurity.

The Executive Committee, which holds these meetings regularly, was established by the Ministerial Committee for Cybersecurity of the GCC. This emphasizes the region's commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts and exchanging expertise aimed at achieving the highest standards of security and digital sustainability across the region.
