The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) participated in the Bahrain Sports Day event at Sama Bay, Muharraq. Following decisions made by the Cabinet, led by H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the event was held on Thursday, February 20, 2025. To facilitate participation, all ministries and government agencies were granted a half-day off, allowing their employees to engage in the sports day activities, thereby reinforcing the role of sports as an integral part of societal culture.

H.E. Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed AlKhalifa, CEO of the NCSC, emphasized that Bahrain Sports Day presents an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of sports, enhance mental health, and strengthen national identity through a variety of athletic activities. H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and the Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, was dedicated to encouraging the Bahraini community to engage in sports on this occasion. His support aims to inspire individuals to invest their time and energy positively. These initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to promote sports and improve quality of life.
