The NCSC Collaborates With Public and Private Schools for "Safer Internet Day" Campaign
The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), in collaboration with various public and private schools, successfully concluded a campaign titled “Safer Internet Day.” The campaign included a series of awareness sessions delivered to 687 students from public and private schools, as well as 65 parents and faculty members.
The sessions included topics related to cybersecurity awareness, including the importance of taking preventative measures, maintaining digital security, and fundamental cybersecurity concepts. Essential concepts were further reinforced through practical activities.
The lectures also highlighted the vital role parents play in fostering children's cybersecurity awareness. Through everyday Internet activities, parents can educate their children on how to manage cybersecurity risks, while also taking proactive measures to protect both themselves and their children from potential cyber threats.
These efforts are part of the NCSC’s commitment to enhancing cybersecurity awareness among school students and empowering teachers and families to effectively activate their supervisory role.
