CEO of National Cyber Security Centre participates in a panel discussion about raising the regulations and standards in the field of cybersecurity in France
His excellency, Shaikh Salman bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, CEO of National Cyber Security Center participated in a panel discussion on raising regulations and standards in the field of cybersecurity and regulatory laws on protecting personal data and electronic signature, at the Global Cybersecurity Forum held in the French Republic from June 7th - 9th with the participation of many experts in the field of digital security.
The seminar aims to discuss European cybersecurity laws, address the standards for personal data protection, electronic signature, and their overall impact on the protection of European citizen data, and discuss the investment development in the infrastructure to protect these systems at the public and private sector levels.
His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed praised the European laws in this field, which played a major role in protecting the European citizen in the transition to electronic transactions and, focusing on the digital economy, stressing that, today, the laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain take a major role in the security of ideas and principles for digital transformation, where special controls and laws have been set in this field to suit the nature of work adopted in the Kingdom. In line with European standards, especially when it comes to electronic transactions and personal data protection as well as electronic signature.
