“Be Smarter Than AI” Campaign

Overview

“Be Smarter Than AI” is a national awareness campaign addressing the growing cybersecurity risks associated with the increased use of AI-enabled tools, which have made employees a key target for sophisticated cyberattacks. The campaign aims to promote the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence across public and private sector entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.


This campaign is aligned with the National Cybersecurity Strategy and also supports the ITU Global Cybersecurity Index by strengthening cybersecurity awareness through targeted nationwide outreach initiatives.

Objectives

  • Promote Safe and Responsible AI Use

    Ensure employees use approved AI tools in alignment with organizational policies, while preventing data leakage and safeguarding sensitive and personal information.

  • Strengthen AI Output Validation and Content Integrity

    Build employee capability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, identifying inaccuracies, bias, and potential manipulation before use, sharing, or decision-making.

  • Enhance Awareness of AI-Enabled Cyber Threats

    Improve the ability to recognize and respond to emerging threats such as AI-driven phishing, deepfakes, and advanced social engineering techniques.
